Dark Embrace With desperate hope, I close my eyes, and wish with all my heart, that you won't see through this disguise. You know me to well, you see right through me, you already know what's wrong, and you hear my silent plea. I hide everything inside, so that my emotions don't seep through, but the world's eyes keep prying, they've already spoken to you. I told you not to tell, and now you've betrayed me, I thought you were my friend, I thought I could make you see. I feel so alone, I wish for the comfort of night, away from lurking eyes, where everything's all right. I fall into the darkness, and it holds me tight, the world slowly disappears, and I give in without a fight.
